As bloggers, the SOPA blackout on the 18th of January was a huge occasion for us at Frugal Dad. We decided to take a look at the numbers behind the protest, and even we were surprised at how huge the movement became. With tens of millions of participants, the blackout was the largest protest in history. Congress was flooded with over 400,000 calls – or 11.5 hours of phone calls per senator.
