Looking at The Dark Knight Rises campaign seems to be very quite. Because of the results of the viral marketing campaign of The Dark Knight, I have been keeping an open eye to report on anything that Christopher Nolan could be up too with the viral marketing campaign.
It’s even been to the point that the viral news sources and bloggosphere when bizerk over the “PG-13″ rating for the movie. No surprise that the rating is PG-13 and nothing to get too excited about. That’s how bad the viral media is being starved with TDKR promos.
Well, marketing hasn’t been much but is that the trick for this movie? Is keeping a low profile creating more of a hunger for the movie? Many are speculating that is the case but we will only find out if it works by the time the movie is released.
Speaking of promos, Entertainment Weekly and Movies.com released these photos of Batman & Catwoman and then just Catwoman.
The bottom photo of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman is different though. No background and she is outlined ready for a Photoshop moment. I mean, you can take that photo and simply replace the background with any photo you want. Is this a marketing campaign for the social media world? We can only wait and see what people from around the world can with it.
