The use of controlled substances in medicine is a heavily argued topic, with benefits being weighed heavily against the potential for abuse. I am just as guilty with my frequent migraines, I pop quite a few pills in a single day once a week just to help control the pain. Today we’re taking a look at one side of the argument, namely the medical benefits and clinical uses of abused drugs.
