Google’s Project Glass – Really?

Screen Shot 2012-04-05 at 12.25.34 PM

Google announced a new project that they are currently working on. This piece of technology is supposed to be worn like you would where glasses. It would keep you informed of your fiends, take pictures, and have conversations – all of this is to be accomplished through the command of your voice. Well, supposed to be. Google announced the project because they wanted to start the conversation among the public to get their input.

A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. So we took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do.

Google started a conversation alright and they left the door wide open for their project to be made fun of.
