Have you seen the billboards? Apparently the end of the world is going to begin this Saturday, May 21, 2011. What time? I do not know, but has the day really been made clear? The group, Family Radio, claims they know the sure date of the beginning of the end.
The Family Radio website, “wecanknow.com,” explains what they are about:
This website has been developed by God’s grace, through the efforts of a small group of believers not affiliated with any organization. The individuals behind the scenes are of no importance. The focus is on the warning that God is sounding to the world through His Word; that He will close the door to salvation on May 21, 2011 when He returns to take his elect children to heaven and begins the day of Judgment on earth for all of those left behind until October 21, 2011 when He will destroy the world and all that is therein.
Even though, the Bible explained that only God knows when the end time will come, this small group used the following scriptures, from the old testament, explaining that if the old testament prophets knew the day of destruction for their time that we can know too:
“And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.”
-Genesis 19:15 (KJV)
“Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.”
-Exodus 9:18 (KJV)
Really? I have not read one bible scripture that they quoted which states the end date to be on May 21, 2011. Why come out now if this date is of any importance? I don’t believe that they know of the date for the world’s destruction, what I believe is that this is a public relations campaign to get people to read their website and join their conspiracy theories. Good job fellas. When the dates of destruction passes, what will you do then if nothing happens?
